The New Year has arrived, all the celebrations have passed, and your wallet may feel a little thin. Why not come to the Quincy Public Library, have some fun, and possibly win $50?
Why not start out your New Year with a bit of nostalgic fun? Do you think you have what it takes to build the winning house of cards? Quincy Public Library will be hosting a House of cards Building Competition. The winner of the competition will receive a $50 gift certificate for Mark Twain Casino! Even if you do not like to play the slots, you can use it for a nice meal in the casino! Come flex your House of Cards building skills!
Teams or individuals welcome! Max 12 contestants, due to space considerations, so register soon!
Entries will be judged based on 2 factors: height and artistic expression.
Judging will be a 2-step process: 3 staff members on site the night of the event will vote for the winner. Then, a staff member will take photos of your houses and post them to the Quincy Public Library social media pages for the community to vote on. The architect with the most votes total wins the $50 gift certificate!!
